This questionnaire invites you views on the landscapes across Swindon Borough and the Landscape Character Areas identified in the draft Landscape Character Assessment.
Part 1 asks about your connection to Swindon and your general views on the borough’s landscape. These questions are for everyone and can be completed regardless of how familiar you are with specific areas.
Part 2 is optional and allows you to provide more detailed feedback on one or more individual Landscape Character Areas.
You can choose an area from the list and answer the questions based on your experience, knowledge, or impressions of that place. If you wish, you can submit comments for multiple areas.
There are no right or wrong answers. We are interested in your personal views, local knowledge, and any experiences or ideas you would like to share. Please answer as many questions as you feel able to; no questions are compulsory for the form to submit.
Your feedback will help shape the final Landscape Character Assessment and inform future planning, management, and enhancement of Swindon’s landscapes.

Landscape Character Areas (LCAs)
Eight Landscape Character Areas (LCAs) have been identified within the Swindon Borough. This website provides a detailed overview of each LCA including a description, key characteristics, designations and policy, forces for change and landscape guidelines to plan, manage and protect distinctiveness.
